• <br /> December 30, 2000 <br /> VIA US MAIL AND HAND DELIVERY <br /> City HalIl /EIk River <br /> Planning Commission <br /> 13065 Orono Parkway <br /> Elk River, MN 55330 <br /> Dear Planning Commission: <br /> • The purpose of this letter is to ask that you do not recommend the rezoning <br /> of the property directly behind the Sherburne County Government Center <br /> from single-family residential to business park. <br /> The residents of Elk River in that area had voiced their opinion against the <br /> rezoning of that property previously approximately 1 1/2 to 2 years ago and <br /> were successful in leaving it single-family residential. The most important <br /> opinion was that business park does not belong that close to a residential <br /> area. That is still the case and should not be recommended for a rezoning. <br /> We respectfully ask you to consider this request when this issue comes up <br /> before the Commission in January. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Rick and Caroline Koch <br /> 18176 Ogden Street NW <br /> cc: all homeowners <br /> • Elk River City Council/City Hall <br />
