THE DRYDEN <br />BSERVER <br />ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT <br />Springpole Gold Project <br />Public Comments Invited <br />Submit written comments by <br />March 26, 2018 <br />CarruLi <br />Little Bands, big impact — Hockey tournament <br />qApMJt,gd to generate $1.2 million economic activity <br />S chrismarchand rn February 7, 2013 Q No Comments <br />By Chris Marchand <br />Dryden's service and hospitality sector is preparing itself for a monumentally busy week as 38 youth hockey teams <br />in five age divisions from remote Treaty 3, 5 and 9 communities descend on the community for a full six days of <br />hockey. <br />Bringing over 1,000 players, coaches, managers and elders, the Little Bands Native Youth Hockey Tournament is <br />expected to fill up every last one of Dryden's available hotel rooms and keep local food service establishments, and <br />shops bustling. <br />Running two sheets of ice from 8 a.m. to midnight daily, the Dryden Development Corporation's Andi Kidd says the <br />tournament may have to branch out to surrounding communities. <br />
