A more detailed landscaping plan should be provided. The site plan shows 8 unknown plants along the west and east side of the barn. A revised landscape plan should identify specific plants and trees, both existing and proposed. There are no other residences nearby so noise should not be a problem. The applicant will be living on the property so the dogs will not be left alone. According to Section 502.36 of the City Ordinance, commercial kennels are also required to be licensed by the city. This license must be renewed annually. The maintenance of kennels are also subject to the standards found in Section 502.38 of the City Ordinance. • Recommendation It is recommended that the Planning Commission recommend approval of the Ladd's request for a conditional use permit for a commercial kennel with the following conditions: 1. THE APPLICANT PROVIDE A LANDSCAPE PLAN WHICH IDENTIFIES EXISTING AND PROPOSED PLANTINGS. 2. THE PARKING AND DRIVEWAY BE PAVED. 3.
