<br />RESOLUTION 05-_ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING PREMISES PERMIT FOR THE FRATERNAL <br />ORfER OF EAGLES AERIE #3264 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />The Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3264 has made application to the <br />State Gambling Control Board for a Premises Permit Renewal; and <br /> <br />Currently a Premises Permit allows charitable gambling on the premises <br />of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3264 located at 824 Railroad <br />Drive in the City of Elk River for the period of June 1,2004 to May 31, <br />2006; and <br /> <br />Once the Eagles Club has relocated the Premises Permit at 824 Railroad <br />Drive will cease to exist; and <br /> <br />The Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3264 has met the city's <br />requirement of spending 75 percent of its lawful expenditures within the <br />city's trade area during the past two years; and <br /> <br />A new Premises Permit is needed to allow charitable gambling at the new <br />location of the Eagles Club, 17323 Highway 10, for the period of May 1, <br />2005 to May 31, 2006; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ~ESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, <br />Minnesota that a Premises Permit be granted to the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3264 <br />to allow charitable gambling operations at the Eagles Club located at 17323 Highway 10 in <br />the City of Elk River, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted this 18th day of April 2005. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Stephanie Klinzing, Mayor <br /> <br />Joan Schmidt, City Clerk <br /> <br />s: \Resolutions \2005 Resolutions \ Unapproved \EaglesPremise.doc <br />
