<br /> We have evaluated the existing water tower and generated budgeting numbers to help
<br /> assist you in the grant submission. The existing water tower was scanned by a UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)on
<br /> February 81h,2018. We have taken the data from the scan and converted it into a scaled drawing which was used for cost
<br /> estimating by two painting contractors. Both painting contractors have separated out their cost estimate into three options as
<br /> noted below. Each of the three options give you different levels of restoration to choose from:
<br /> 1. Option 1 (short term)-pressure wash water tower and repaint. Fix structural items as noted in report dated August
<br /> 3,2015.
<br /> 2. Option 2(medium term)-pressure wash and sand blast only problem areas as identified in report and repaint. Fix
<br /> structural items as noted in report dated August 3,2015.
<br /> 3. Option 3 (Long term)-remove all the lead base paint by sand blasting the entire water tower and repaint. Fix
<br /> structural items as noted in report dated August 3,2015.
<br /> The two attached cost estimates from the painting contractors did not include the
<br /> following mark-ups-25%Soft Costs,20%for contingency and 10%per year for inflation-see cost breakouts below.
