My <br /> sister, Pat Egan, and I are working on plans to open a workshop studio. <br /> Pat and I have a reputation among friends and family in matters of art, decoration and comforts of <br /> the home. We'd like to expand what we enjoy into a family venture, and share our ideas in a <br /> workshop setting with neighbors and friends. Both Pat and I are employed in fulltime careers, and <br /> therefore, this venture is an extension of the hobbies and things that we enjoy. <br /> • <br /> This is the type of business to be operated from home because it expands on what is here - the <br /> porch, garden, potting shed. To characterize "The Porch", we have noted some ideas for its <br /> operation: <br /> . We see our clientele as largely female; they will come to relax, enjoy the setting, and <br /> involve themselves in projects. <br /> . Projects could include items for the home: linens, candles, soaps - handmade comforts. <br /> . Any sales would be incidental to the operation of the business. <br /> . Days and hours of operation: <br /> Saturdays,year-round (may close January/February); 11:OOam-5:OOpm, and by <br /> appointment; seasonal open houses. <br /> Thank you for the opportunity to present this request to you.
