Memo Planning Commission <br /> July 28, 1998 <br /> Page 4 <br /> Interference <br /> 11110 <br /> All applications for new service have to be accompanied by an <br /> intermodulation study which evaluates potential interference problems. <br /> Recommendation <br /> Rezoning <br /> It is recommended the Planning Commission recommend approval of the <br /> rezoning request to AT based on the following findings: <br /> 1. The rezoning is compatible with the surrounding land uses and would <br /> not adversely affect the property under consideration for rezoning. <br /> 2. The proposed rezoning is necessary in order to provide effective <br /> wireless telecommunication coverage for the city. <br /> 3. The rezoning is in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan for the <br /> city. <br /> Conditional Use permit <br /> • It is recommended the Planning Commission recommend approval of the <br /> conditional use permit for a 150 foot wireless telecommunication tower and <br /> supporting equipment with the following conditions: <br /> 1. The tower be designed to accommodate 2 additional users. <br /> 2. The tower and equipment shall be screened from view and surrounded <br /> by an 8 foot tall fence. The equipment structure shall be painted to <br /> match the existing building. <br /> 3. The tower shall be a color that blends in with the surrounding <br /> environment. <br /> 4. No signs, lighting or advertising are allowed on the tower. <br /> 5. The applicant shall supply an intermodulation study to evaluate any <br /> potential interference problems. <br /> 6.
