Memo to Planning Commission/Elk River Crossing
October 27, 1998
Page 5
• There are several power easements and transmission lines that cross the
project. The applicant should show those on the development plan so their
impact on the different lots can be determined.
There is a high pressure natural gas line that cuts diagonally across the site.
The proposed location of the large retail store is on top of that gas line and
will require the relocation of that natural gas line. This gas line and the
associated easement should be shown on the development plan.
It should also be noted the developer does not have ownership or signed
purchase agreements with all property owners that are included as part of
this development. The developer is currently working with those property
owners on finalizing the purchase of those properties.
•
\\elkriver\sys\shrdoc\planning\scott\p98-8.doc
