Similarly, Elk River could develop its <br /> own inventory of lands suitable for open space development and try to map <br /> out environmentally sensitive areas or other site features worthy of <br /> preserving within the City. This inventory could reinforce the OSD <br /> ordinance by providing developers encouragement to use OSD to preserve <br /> environmentally sensitive and unique site features in the City. <br /> Sherburne County Planning Commission <br /> On November 19th, the Sherburne County Planning Commission <br /> recommended an ordinance amendment to allow cluster plats. The County <br /> Commissioners will review the document on December 3, 1998. <br /> • <br /> Recommendation <br /> Staff recommends that the Planning Commission review this draft of the <br /> proposed ordinance so that staff can incorporate comments for a formal <br /> presentation of the document at the December 3, 1998 Planning Commission <br /> Meeting. <br /> • <br />
