Health Insurance Study Proposal <br /> <br />Discussion was carried on regarding the revised proposal by Sam Oberstein for <br />the employees health insurance study. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE AGREEMENT WITH SAM OBERSTEIN TO PERFORM <br />SERVICES NECESSARY FOR THE HEALTH INSURANCE STUDY FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF <br />ELK RIVER, DATED APRIL 26, 1985. COUNCILMEMBER ENGSTROM SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />4. This item was removed from the May 13, 1985 City Council agenda. <br /> <br />5. Resolution Appointing Acting City Clerk and Election Official for Referendum <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO APPROVE RESOLUTION 85-15, A RESOLUTION APPOINTING <br />ACTING CITY CLERK AND ELECTION OFFICIAL FOR SPECIAL ELECTION/REFERENDUM. COUNCIL- <br />MEMBER ENGSTROM SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />6. Liquor License for Jerry Ruppe1ius <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO APPROVE ANON-INTOXICATING MALT LIQUOR LICENSE FOR <br />GERALD RUPPELIUS WITH THE STIPULATION THAT PROOF OF LIQUOR LIABILITY INSURANCE <br />MUST BE GIVEN. COUNCILMEMBERGUNKEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />Discussion was carried on regarding the license fee and whether or not the fee <br />had been previously paid by Mr. Lee Gamm. It was the consensus of the City <br />Council that if the fee had been paid, that no additional fee was necessary. <br /> <br />6~. Library Board <br /> <br />Counci1member Gunkel indicated that Ms. Joyce Lahti had resigned from her position <br />as Librarian. <br /> <br />Counci1member Gunkel further indicated that a vacancy existed on the Library Board <br />and that Mr. Ken Parker expressed interest in serving on the Library Board but that <br />he would only be available to serve on the Board part of the year. Counci1member <br />Gunkel further indicated that Vicki Sullivan was interested in serving on the Board <br />and that she felt she would be very capable. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO APPOINT VICKIE SULLIVAN TO THE LIBRARY BOARD FOR A <br />THREE YEAR TERM. COUNCILMEMBER ENGSTROM SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED <br />4-0. <br />
