Call Meeting to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River <br /> City Council was called to order at 7:53 p.m. <br /> 2. Consideration of 2/27/89 City Council Agenda <br /> City Administrator Update was added to the agenda under Other Business. <br /> COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE 2/27/89 CITY COUNCIL AGENDA2 <br /> COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> • 3.1. Consideration of 2/13/89 City Council Minutes <br /> COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO APPROVE 2/13/89 CITY COUNCIL MINUTES. <br /> COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> Councilmember Holmgren stated that he was pleased with the meeting room <br /> facilities of the Community Center and requested that more Council <br /> meetings be held at that location. <br /> 3.2. Consideration of 2/16/89 Board of Canvass Minutes <br /> COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO APPROVE THE 2/16/89 BOARD OF CANVASS <br /> MINUTES. COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5- <br /> 0. <br /> onsideration of Lois Carton Assessment Cancellation <br /> ....00i <br /> ayor Tralle stated that at the 12/5/88 Council meeting, Lois Carton <br /> requested cancellation of special assessment for the 1981 sewer <br /> interceptor on parcel number 117-000-284205. He further stated that <br /> the reasons for the request is that the property is a pond and the land <br /> is unbuildable. <br /> Lori Johnson, Finance Director, informed the Council that Mrs. Carton had <br /> attended the 1981 public hearing and talked to a city employee at the <br /> • meeting, however, this was not followed up by either the City or Mrs. <br /> Carton and further that the discussion was not recorded in the minutes. <br />
