RESOLUTION 89 - <br /> 111 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> A RESOLUTION REASSESSING A CERTAIN PARCEL ASSESSED <br /> IN EXCESS FOR THE 1981 SEWER INTERCEPTOR PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, Parcel PID #117-000-284205 is owned by Lois Carton and <br /> was assessed $1 ,819 .61 in 1981 for Sewer Interceptor <br /> Improvements; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the assessment was not appealed during the normal <br /> special assessment appeal process; and, <br /> WHEREAS, this property consists of a pond which has been deemed <br /> unbuildable by the City Building and Zoning <br /> Administrator and it is not economically feasible to <br /> improve the land to a buildable state; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the improvements will never benefit the property; and , <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that because this <br /> property is and will continue to be unbuildable, the <br /> assessment is excess and should be reduced. <br /> • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br /> Elk River that the remaining portion of the assessment <br /> ($1 ,569 .89) be reduced to zero and cancelled from the <br /> assessment role as certified to the Council Auditor . <br /> Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council on this 27th day <br /> of February, 1989 . <br /> James A.
