Lilly Bees Project Narrative: <br />Lilly Bees Pet Spa is a long established business of over 15 years run by experience of a <br />wider scope than grooming. Our new facility opened in Elk River this past August and <br />we thank you for the warm welcome to the city. So far we have had great feedback and <br />our business is doing wonderfully with much potential, we hope to be here a long time <br />ahead. <br />Shannon Forsberg is the owner of the establishment and has experience not only in <br />master grooming skills, but also has over 20 years of experience in dog boarding of all <br />settings from high end to farm to corporate settings as well as retail front in Edina and <br />Wayzata. One thing I love about the location on highway 10, is we are separated from <br />other businesses so noise complaints are not an issue O We are hoping to open a dog <br />daycare/small boarding facility beginning in April to add to our already large and <br />reputable grooming business. <br />Hours of operation will be from 6:30am-8:OOpm so the dogs will be supervised during <br />those hours of operation including feedings, medication, potty breaks outside and indoor <br />playtime. Our staff is well educated, the owner is a certified dog trainer having gone <br />through rigorous courses over a 3 year period with a well -renowned dog -trainer named <br />Inga(Owner of Positive Gun Dog Training, and Hippie Dog) as well as we have a <br />manager that has her degree as a Vet Technician. Lilly Bees stands alone in experience <br />hands down next to all competitors. Our groomers are highly skilled and not fresh from a <br />corporate grooming school, we have had teachers of grooming on our staff from high end <br />grooming colleges including Pucci Pet Career Studios. Dog cpr and safety will be taught <br />to all employees. All of our workers will go through a training program in animal <br />behavior and basic manners. We will have 2 to 5 employees on staff, we offer 5 parking <br />stalls, and we offer an indoor and outdoor play area with separation for dogs that are <br />small or not socialized. <br />In the evening we will offer dog training courses Tuesdays through Thursdays to teach <br />basic manner classes to puppies or older dogs, and we are also looking to offer canine <br />good citizen classes in the future. <br />Thank you for your consideration, <br />Shannon Forsberg <br />Owner Lilly Bees Pet Spa <br />612)707-0774
