ALL COMMON WALLS BE CONSTRUCTED TO MEET THE SEPARATION <br /> REQUIREMENTS AS SET FORTH IN THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE. <br /> 2. A LANDSCAPED BERM BE IMPLEMENTED ALONG MEADOWVALE ROAD. <br /> COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 7.5. Consider initiating an application to "amend various sections of the zoning <br /> ordinance <br /> Steve Ach informed the Council that staff is requesting authorization to initiate <br /> amendments to the zoning ordinance pertaining to landscaping and parking. <br /> • COUNCILMEMBER FARBER MOVED TO SUPPORT STAFF IN ITS REQUEST TO INITIATE <br /> AMENDMENTS TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO LANDSCAPING AND <br /> PARKING. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 7.6. Consider initiating an application to rezone certain property to business park <br /> Steve Ach indicated that on January 18, 1994, the City Council adopted a <br /> Business Park Zoning Ordinance which could be implemented for the western <br /> area business park. He stated that in order to adequately address any <br /> development requests that come forward, it would be appropriate to establish a <br /> business park zone. <br /> Jay Johnson of Country Ridge Partnership indicated that he is in the process of <br /> developing the Lakoduk property. He requested the Council not to zone the <br /> property to business park at this time. He indicated he would like the opportunity <br /> to complete their study and make a land use amendment request to the Council <br /> for the property. <br /> COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO INITIATE A REZONING FOR THOSE PROPERTIES <br /> THAT HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED IN THE WESTERN AREA OF THE CITY TO BP (BUSINESS <br /> PARK) ZONING DESIGNATION TO IMPLEMENT THE INTENDED DEVELOPMENT PATTERN <br /> AND LAND USE MIX OF THE WESTERN AREA PRIOR TO EXTENDING TRUNK UTILITY LINES <br /> TO SERVE THIS AREA. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br /> • MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />
