He stated he wouldnt like to see an active <br />niernber of the commission removed due to absences bevond their co. train. <br />Corru-nission Ovall Indicated the operative language in the policy under section 2.7 was the <br />word "may" "Failure to cotnply �vifli the Attendance Policy may t'eSUlt in removal from the <br />Board of Corninissu.mers in accordance with the Attendance policy. <br />It was consensus of the C"onitnission to have Ms. Othoudt prepare a resolution in support of <br />the amendments to the bylaws as presented in the staffrej-,)ort and retUrn with the resolution <br />to the April meeting for approval, <br />Ms. Othoudt presented the staff report, She Indicated the draft: If ousing Study was <br />completed by, Maxfield Research Trac. and she was interested in knowing if the FIRA �vould <br />like Brian from Maxfield Research to j -,)resent it at the April HRA rnecting,'I"he orlo—nal <br />proposal doesn't include a presentation fee so there may be a striall fee for Brian to present <br />that infortnation. She herself could present that study and reflect on the changes unless, the <br />FIRA would approve the fee to have Nfaxfield provide the presentation. <br />Chair Toth asked what the fee was an(.1 if she felt competent, to present the study. <br />MS, 0111OUdt stated she inquired about the fee and hasnt yet received a response. She stated <br />she would prefer to have Maxfield present the results of the study since she didn't prepare it. <br />'rhe consensus of the HR -A was that Maxfield would present the study and Ms. Othoudt <br />would negotiate a price with thern. <br />MS.
