PROPOSED SCOUT STORAGE BUILDING ON LOT 4 OF BLOCK 1 OF RIDGEWOOD EAST 2ND ADDITION OWNED BY THE CITY OF ELK RIVER SUMMARY The three scout troops in Elk River need storage space to store their camping equipment. The American Legion has appropriated up to $15 , 000 . 00 to build a storage building for Troops 90 , 99 and ill. The construction of the building will be done mainly by professional carpenter/volunteers . Material will be acquired at reduced cost and the building will be placed on city owned property and maintained by the Elk River scout troops. BUILDING The building will initially be sized at 30 ft. by 60 ft. and subdivided into three parts, one for each troop. Layout allows for future expansion for use by other community orientated youth organizations, as depicted on Plot Plan. Adequate room is set aside for the existing storm water runoff holding pend on said Lot 4 . In addition, the scouts also have their own liability insurance which will cover them while at the building site. •MAINTENANCE The scouts would maintain the building and grounds .
