FEE 16 '94 14:44 CUST RELATIONS GRP P.2/2
Key Constructs for Revision of Comprehensive P1an02J16/94 Page 2
14) Are there ratios to use for desirable housing stock? This includes issues regarding amounts and
location of low income housing as well as multi-family housing. Do we want these type of
housing segregated or integrated to the rest of the community?
15) What are projections of Commercial and Industrial growth? We want to ensure that we provide
enough land for all uses, but we do not want to let land go to waste waiting for something that
may no come. Will the City of Elk River take an active role in the development of Industrial
properties?
16) Are there any ratios between how much commerce or industrial use is appropriate for the amount
of residential land available?
17) Do we want to update the Public areas to account for City Hall? Also, what is on the horizon for
the Fairgrounds?
18) Is the mayor planning to sit on the"Steering Committee"? If so,does he wish to chair this"Blue
Ribbon Committee"?
Steve,we would like to have you expand these questions and add your own. If possible,we would like to
see this in our packet on Friday so that we can comment on them at our meeting next Tuesday.
Thanks,
Dan Tveite
•
S
