We understand Mr. Shoemaker proposes to <br /> not use the City streets to remove the excavated material; therefore, the issue of damage to <br /> ID <br /> local streets is no longer relative. We also understand Mr. Shoemaker proposes to line a <br /> portion of the excavated pond with clay to ensure it retains water. If the proposal is approved, <br /> we would recommend the following items be required to be submitted, reviewed, and <br /> approved by staff prior to work commencing: <br /> 1. A detailed grading plan with one foot contours based on actual mean sea level datum, <br /> which details the proposed limits of excavation and grading work and also meets the <br /> requirements set in the approval process. <br /> 2. A calculation, based on the grading plan, of the total amount of material to be excavated <br /> which is within reasonable range of the requested 19,000 cubic yard amount. <br /> 3. Survey information, based on the same datum as the grading plan, which details the <br /> lowest floor elevations of all homes adjacent to the proposed pond and the elevation at <br /> the limits of the drainage easement. <br /> 4. Details of an adequate overflow structure to the pond which is a minimum of two feet <br /> below the lowest house elevation or one foot below the lowest elevation at the limits of <br /> the drainage easement, whichever is lower. <br /> • <br /> 1959 SLOAN PLACE, SUITE 200, ST.
