We went to market to fill these <br /> positions and received 127 applications. Following initial interviews with 67 candidates, 14 were invited <br /> back for another interview with the captains and human resources. Seven of those candidates moved on <br /> to interview with Chief Nierenhausen. Chief Nierenhausen chose two candidates to proceed to <br /> background investigation and medical and psychological evaluations. <br /> Clayton Aswegan has been working as a patrol deputy for the Wright County Sheriff's Office since <br /> December of 2016. Prior to that,he worked security positions and as a forklift operator through his <br /> schooling. Mr. Aswegan holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Minnesota <br /> in Crookston. <br /> Financial Impact <br /> This position is included in the 2018 budget.
