<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Page 12 <br /> <br />City Council Minutes <br />October 19. 1987 <br /> <br />5.16.Preliminary Plat Review of Barrington Hills/Linda Norha/Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gunkel indicated that Linda Norha is requesting preliminary plat <br />review of Barrington Hills. Mr. Rohlf reviewed the plat with the Council <br />and indicated that all lots meet minimum acreage and frontage <br />requirements. <br /> <br />Gary Santwire was present representing Mrs. Norha. <br /> <br />Commissioner Temple indicated that the Planning Commission recommended <br />approval of the plat with certain conditions. <br /> <br />Mayor Gunkel opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Larry Toth questioned why the outlot on the map was considered an outlot. <br /> <br />There being no one else speaking from the public. Mayor Gunkel closed the <br />pub lic hearing. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF BARRINGTON <br />HILLS AS REQUESTED BY LINDA NORHA WITH THE FOLLOWING STIPULATIONS: <br /> <br />1. THAT THE WATER SERVICE TO THE PROPOSED PLAT BE A 6 INCH SYSTEM AND <br />APPROVED BY THE CITY ENGINEER. <br /> <br />2. THAT THE ROAD THROUGH THE COMMERCIAL AREA BE 36 FEET WIDE WITH <br />CONCRETE CURB. <br /> <br />:3. THAT THE RESIDENTIAL PORTION OF THE PROPOSED ROAD BE 32 FEET WIDE WITH <br />CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER BUILT TO A 7 TON DESIGN. <br /> <br />4. THAT THE PROPOSED CUL-DE-SAC HAVE A 40 FOOT RADIUS TARRED AREA. <br /> <br />5. THAT A DEVELOPERS AGREEMENT IS ENTERED INTO IN REGARDS TO THE PLAT. <br /> <br />6. THAT A LETTER OF CREDIT IS ESTABLISHED FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS THAT WOULD <br />BE ACCEPTED BY THE CITY. <br /> <br />7. THAT DETAILED PLANS FOR SEWER. WATER. GRADING. STREET LIGHTS. <br />DRAINAGE. AND ROAD CONSTRUCTION BE SUPPLIED TO THE CITY FOR REVIEW <br />PRIOR TO FINAL PLAT APPROVAL. <br /> <br />8. THAT THE NAME OF THE PROPOSED STREET BE 8TH STREET. <br /> <br />9. THAT THERE BE TWO ADDITIONAL FIRE HYDRANTS ADDED TO THE PLAT. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />
