Vice Mayor Schuldt closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL MOVED TO TABLE THE REQUEST FOR PRELIMINARY AND <br />FINAL PLAT REVIEW OF REPLAT #6 OF BARRINGTON PLACE PUD UNTIL THE JUNE <br />1, 1987 CITY COUNCIL MEETING. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SEqONDED THE <br />MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />6.1. Tax Forfeited Lands <br /> <br />The City Administrator reviewed the memo from the Street Superintendent <br />to the City Council regarding certain parcels of land which are being <br />forfeited to the State for taxes. He noted that according to the memo. <br />it would be to the City's advantage to acquire only one of these lots. <br />but that anything that would be done would be subject to County Board <br />app roval. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED THAT THE CITY TRY TO OBTAIN OUTLOTS A AND B <br />OF RIDGEWOOD EAST ADDITION AND FURTHER THAT THE RECOMMENDATIONS AS <br />STATED IN THE STREET SUPERINTENDENT'S MEMO DATED MAY 14. 1987. BE <br />FORWARDED TO THE COUNTY BOARD. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />6.2. <br /> <br />Ordinance Amendment to Increase Fines for Misdemeanors <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL MOVED TO APPROVE ORDINANCE 87-22. AN ORDINANCE <br />INCREASING THE FINE FOR MISDEMEANOR VIOLATIONS TO $700. COUNCILMEMBER <br />TRALLE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />6.3. Park Dedication Fee <br /> <br />The City Administrator noted that the proposed resolution would raise <br />the park. dedication fees from $100 per dwelling unit to $200 per <br />dwelling unit. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO APPROVE RESOLUTION 87-24 A RESOLUTION <br />ESTABLISHING PARK DEDICATION FEE ON NEW SUBDIVISIONS AND MULTI-FAMILY <br />DWELLING UNITS. COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />6.4. Old City Hall <br /> <br />The City Administrator reviewed the terms being negotiated between the <br />County and City allowing the County to lease the old City Hall building. <br /> <br />tit <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WHICH WOULD ALLOW <br />THE COUNTY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE TO LEASE SPACE IN THE OLD CITY HALL <br />BUILDING AT $500 PER MONTH CONTINGENT UPON THE CITY NOT BEING <br />RlSPONSIBLE FOR ANY ADDITIONAL SERVICES OR EXPENSES. COUNCILMEMBER <br />DOBEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br />
