He indicated that allowing outside <br />employees defeats the purpose of a home occupation. <br /> <br />THE MOTION PASSED 4-1. COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT VOTED AGAINST 'rim MOTiON. <br /> <br />6.14. Zone Change Request by Jerry Smith/Public Hearing <br /> <br />The Building and Zoning Administrator noted that Jerry Smith is <br />requesting a zone change from R1-A to R1-B on property he is proposing <br />to plat. The Building and Zoning Administrator noted that Mr. Smith is <br />proposing water and sewered lots. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Representative Arlon Fuchs stated that the Planning <br />Commission recommended approval of the zone change. <br /> <br />Mayor Gunkel opened the public hearing. No one appeared for or against <br />the matter. Mayor Gunkel closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT MOVED TO APPROVE ORDINANCE 87-15. AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING THE ELK RIVER ZONING MAP TO ZONE PROPERTY FROM R-1A TO R-1B. <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED. THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 5-0. <br /> <br />6.15. Ordinance Amendment Regarding Easements/Public Hearing <br /> <br />The Building and Zoning Administrator informed the Council that this <br />Ordinance would not allow structures. fences. other obstruction and <br />plantings other than grass in drainage and utility easements. <br /> <br />Mayor Gunkel opened the public hearng. There being no comment from the <br />public. Mayor Gunkel closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO ADOPT <br />AMENDING SECTION 1008.16 - EASEMENTS. <br />MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 5-0. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 87-16, AN ORDINANCE <br />COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL SECONDED THE <br /> <br />6.16. Ordinance Amendment Regarding Used Cars/Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gunkel introduced this ordinance amendment which will allow used <br />cars as a conditional use in C-3A zones. <br /> <br />The Building and Zoning Administrator indicated this amendment was <br />already passed by the Council a couple of years ago but wasn't published <br />to make it legal. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Planning Commission Representative Kropuenske indicated <br />Planning Commission recommended approval 6-0. <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Mayor Gunkel opened the public hearing.
