The City <br />Administrator then discussed the appeal process on this issue. <br /> <br />COUNCILM!MBER DOBEL MOVED TO APPEAL THE DECISION TO LOCATE THE PUBLIC <br />ACCESS STUDIO FOR CABLE TV IN ELK RIVER BASED ON THE FACT THAT ELK RIVER <br />MAY HAVE THE MAJORITY OF USERS FOR THIS FACILITY IN THIS REGION. <br />COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 5-0. <br /> <br />8.7. Economic Development Commission Members <br /> <br />The following names were listed by the City Council as potential <br />candidates for the Economic Development Commission: <br /> <br />Chuck Christian <br />Greg Hohlen <br />Dr. Nick Olson <br />Bob Maxwell <br />John Kuester <br />Wade Turner <br />Jeff Gongoll <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Councilmember Gunkel suggested that the Economic Development Commission <br />forward written minutes to the Council after their meetings. <br /> <br />It was the consensus that these people would be interviewed by the City <br />Counc i1 . <br /> <br />Under the Other Business Agenda item. Councilmember Holmgren questioned <br />the feasibility of the City having a "Wellness" support system for the <br />City Employees. The City Administrator noted he would look into the <br />matter. but further stated he felt the City Staff. without the Utilities <br />was not large enough for this type of program. <br /> <br />9. Check Register <br /> <br />cOUNcILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO APPROVE THE CHECK REGISTER. COUNCILMEMBER <br />HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 5-0. <br /> <br />10. Adj ournment <br /> <br />There being no further business. COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO ADJOURN <br />THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING. COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL SECONDED THE MOTION.
