Holmgren <br />and Tralle <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Pat Klaers. City Administrator; Terry Maurer. City Engineer; <br />Greg Korstad. City Attorney; Lori Johnson. Finance Director; <br />Stephen Rohlf. Building and Zoning Administrator <br /> <br />1. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. the meeting of the Elk River <br />City Council was called to order by Mayor Gunkel at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />2. Consideration of 10/3/88 City Council Agenda <br /> <br />Item 6.1 was deleted from the agenda; and items 8.1 - City Administrator <br />Update and 8.2 - Highway 101 Update were added to the agenda. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL MOVED TO APPROVE <br />COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL AGENDA AS AMENDED. <br />THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />3.1. Consideration of 9/21/88 City Council Minutes <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO APPROVE THE 9/21/88 CITY COUNCIL MINUTES. <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />3.2. Consideration of 9/26/88 City Council Minutes <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE 9/26/88 CITY COUNCIL MINUTES AS <br />SUBMITTED. COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED <br />5-0. <br /> <br />4. Open Mike <br /> <br />No one appeared for this item. <br /> <br />5.1. Conditional Use Permit/Mandolfo Investments/Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gunkel indicated that Mandolfo Investments. Inc. is requesting a <br />conditional use permit to allow the construction of a restaurant in a <br />C-3A/Highway Commercial Zone. Mayor Gunkel further indicated that the <br />Planning Commission reviewed the item and unanimously recommended <br />approval of the conditional use permit with certain conditions. <br /> <br />Mayor Gunkel opened the public hearing. There being no one for or <br />against the matter. Mayor Gunkel closed the public hearing. <br />
