He stated that it is possible to receive <br />financing for the building of this bridge through State Aid. He <br />explained that the process would allow the City to bond for the <br />improvement, complete the improvement, and then recover the money <br />from State Aid. This project will be discussed in more detail at a <br />future meeting. <br /> <br />MSA Fund Balance <br /> <br />The City Engineer indicated that the current MSA fund balance is -0- <br />and about 75% of next years funds will be used prior to 1990. <br /> <br />Jarvis Railroad Crossing <br /> <br />The City Engineer indicated <br />regarding railroad crossing <br />from the State as of yet. <br />work with the State and the <br /> <br />Hi2hway 169/193rd Si~al <br /> <br />that they have contacted the State office <br />at Jarvis and he has not received a reply <br />He indicated that they will continue to <br />City on this matter. <br /> <br />The City Engineer indicated that he has received word froll MnDOT that <br />the proposed 169/193rd signal is in their plans for 1990 with <br />construction to take place in 1991. <br /> <br />Western Area Utilities <br /> <br />Mayor Tralle indicated that he has received calls and questions from <br />residents living in the western area of the City regarding the <br />possibility of city services being extended to this area of the <br />City. He indicated he would like the City to reach the citizens in <br />sOlie way to inform them of what is being planned for that particular <br />area of the Ci ty. Discussion pursued regarding possible ways of <br />informing the citizens. It was the consensus of the Council that the <br />City staff would first try a direct mail approach and if this did not <br />satisfy the citizens then a neighborhood inforllational meeting could <br />be planned. <br /> <br />6.1. <br /> <br />Consider Extension of PreliminarY Plat for ReDlat #5/Barrington Place <br />PUD/James Peterson and First National Bank <br /> <br />Steve Rohlf, Building and Zoning Administrator, indicated that the <br />petitioner was expected to ask for an extension but never did. <br />Therefore, Mr. Rohlf requested that this item be tabled. <br />
