<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL <br />HELD AT THE N.S.P. PLANT <br />MONDAY. JULY 24. 1989 <br /> <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Vice Mayor Schuldt. Councilmembers Kropuenske. and <br />Holmgren <br /> <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Mayor Tralle. and Councilmember Dobel <br /> <br />STAFF PRESENT: Patrick Klaers. City Administrator; and Phil Hals. <br />Street Superintendent <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. Vice Mayor Schuldt called the meeting <br />of the Elk River City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The City Council had scheduled a tour of the N.S.P. and U.P.A. facilities. <br />The Council had one item of business to discuss. therefore. in the <br />Administration Building of N.S.P.. the meeting was called to order. <br /> <br />Phil Hals. Street Superintendent. presented the Council with the bids that had <br />been opened for the precast concrete work on the public works garage. The <br />Street Superintendent indicated that he received two bids. one from Bladholm <br />which was $69,055; and a bid from Wells Concrete which was $67,095. He <br />indicated that he is recommending that the Council accept the low bid from <br />Well's Concrete. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO ACCEPT THE LOW BID FOR THE PRECAST CONCRETE <br />WORK ON THE PUBLIC WORKS GARAGE FROM WELL'S CONCRETE AT $67.095. <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 3-0. <br /> <br />There being no further business, COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO ADJOURN THE <br />ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL MEETING. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />THE MOTION CARRIED 3-0. <br /> <br />The meeting of the Elk River City Council adjourned at 7:05 p.m. <br /> <br />The Council then proceeded to tour the N.S.P. and U.P.A. facilities. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted. <br /> <br />P&L~ K/~ <br /> <br />Patrick Klaers <br />City Administrator <br />
