City of <br /> Elly <br /> River <br /> Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its <br /> adoption: <br /> Resolution 18- <br /> A Resolution of the City of Elk River Approving Notice of Summary <br /> Publication of Ordinance #18- an Ordinance Amending Chapter 38, Article <br /> VIII, Peddler's Solicitors, Transient Merchants, and Mobile Food Units of the <br /> City of Elk River, Minnesota, City Code <br /> WHEREAS, on March 5, 2018, the Elk River City Council adopted Ordinance 18- <br /> amending Chapter 38,Article VIII, of the Elk River Code of Ordinances regarding mobile <br /> food unit (food trucks) regulation and licensing; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Ordinance allows mobile food units to operate in the City of Elk River <br /> and outlines the requirements for licensing and regulation for operation,including permitted <br /> locations,hours, and fees. <br /> WHEREAS, a copy of the full text of the ordinance is available for inspection by any <br /> person at the office of the Elk River City Clerk, 13065 Orono Parkway, during regular <br /> business hours; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council,by at least four-fifths <br /> vote, authorizes the publication of the title and summary of Ordinance 18- <br /> The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof- <br /> and the following against: ,whereupon said <br /> resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> The following members were present: <br /> and the following absent: <br /> Passed and adopted this 51h day of March 2018. <br /> John J.
