Council agreed on the two easterly parking spaces adjacent to Rivers Edge Commons Park in the
upper parking lot with a limit of one truck in the district. The designated parking area will be on a first-
come-first-serve basis and the licensing fee must be paid at time of reservation.
Food trucks would not be allowed downtown on concert nights unless authorized by Council. Council
also has authority to allow them in other locations for city-sanctioned events. These requests would be
required to come to Council for approval.
Changes since the last discussion are highlighted in yellow in the ordinance. Staff suggests adoption of the
ordinance noting if any issues arise,it could always be evaluated and adjusted as needed.
Financial Impact
Staff is proposing an annual fee of$100. This would come back for adoption in the fee schedule at the
next meeting.
Attachments
■ Map
■ Ordinance
■ Resolution for Summary Publication
The Elk River Vision
A PehoMing community 2a itb revolutionary and spirited resourcefulness, exceptional POWERED By
service, and community engagement that encourages and inspires prosperity INAWRE1
