Call Meetin~ To Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River <br />City Council was called to order at 8:25 p.m. by Mayor Tralle. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Consider 8/12/91 Work Session A~enda <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO APPROVE THE 8/12/91 WORK SESSION <br />AGENDA. COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED <br />5-0. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Consider Resolution Acknowled~ing Gift of Land from Dominic Gospodor <br /> <br />Lori Johnson indicated that a resolution is requested from the Council <br />authorizing the acceptance of a gift of property with a value of <br />$107,800 from Mr. Gospodor. She further indicated that adoption of <br />this resolution is necessary so that closing on the property can take <br />place. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 91-46, A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A GIFT OF REAL PROPERTY FROM DOMINIC F. <br />GOSPODOR. COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />4.1. Discussion on Site Plan Analysis <br /> <br />Zack Johnson, EOS Architecture, indicated that the Council has had <br />questions and concerns relating to the location of City Hall as shown <br />on the site plan and its relation to Orono Road. He further indicated <br />that his firm has developed alternative site plans. He indicated that <br />EOS representatives have met with the Police Department staff regarding <br />the schematic design of the Police Department building and that they <br />are in the process of setting up a meeting with City Hall staff for the <br />same purpose. <br /> <br />Kevin Conley, EOS Architecture, reviewed the site plans with the <br />Council and the Design Committee.
