Fire Department Annual Report/Russ Arrgerso~ <br /> <br />Russ Anderson, Fire Chief, presented the Fire Department Annual Report <br />to the City Council. Russ Anderson indicated the Steve Di ttbenner <br />would be before the Council in the future to discuss the status of the <br />ambulance service. <br /> <br />8. 1. Ccm.nci !!!lE:!_mber Kropuepske <br /> <br />Councilmember Kropuenske indicated that he met with the landowners of <br />the property along the river that is being considered as a potential <br />City Hall site. He indicated that the landowners have indicated that <br />price will be lower than originally quoted. <br /> <br />9. Qj~<i!!Ii!lllttrator IDldate <br /> <br />The City Administrator indicated Mr. Gospodor is interested in donating <br />land to the City if it would be put to public service. The City <br />Administrator indicated that he would like the Council to consider <br />adding this parcel of land to the other parcels being evaluated by Zack <br />Johnson. It was the consensus of the City Council to acknowledge the <br />Gospodor property as a potential city hall and/or community center site. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />The City Administrator informed the Council that on March 11, at 6:00 <br />p.m. he will meet with two County Board representatives, the Mayor and <br />Councilmember Kropuenske in a committee worksession. He indicated that <br />the meeting was called by the County for the purpose of discussing the <br />County Administration Building. <br /> <br />The City Administrator indicated that Laurie Britz has requested an <br />increase in pay of $50.00 a month to purchase cleaning supplies for the <br />Library and City Hall. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO INCREASE LAURIE BRITZ'S SALARY BY <br />$50.00 PER MONTH TO COVER CLEANING SUPPLIES FOR THE LIBRARY AND CITY <br />HALL. COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />The City Administrator indicated that for the past few years the City <br />has donated $250 in support of the 2001 Conference, and indicated that <br />the City has once again been asked to donate toward this cause. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO DONATE $250 TO SUPPORT THE 2001 <br />CONFERENCE. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 4-0. <br />
