There is also a small <br />population of cannabis or hemp plants growing within the black locust grove. <br />In some areas, especially within the "grassland" section, there are wet depression areas <br />with non-native cattails and reed canary grass. Both units have a low area before the <br />terrain slopes upward to the neighboring housing development. These units are quite <br />degraded, with many invaders including honeysuckle, buckthorn, dame's rocket, burdock <br />and reed canary grass. Native tree species include a few small pin/red oak (-20 cm dbh), <br />box elder, hackberry, and one clump of trembling aspen (31.3-74.4 cm db ). The <br />understory vegetation is sparse and dominated by creeping Charlie an r non -natives <br />mentioned above.
