It was shown that if setbacks <br />are 500 feet from structures then approximately 222 acres will be available for hunting and if <br />they are 500 feet from property lines then approximately 185 acres will be available for hunting. <br />It was discussed that a tour of the Houlton farm should be planned by the planning committee. <br />It was decided that the tour would be on Monday, February 9 at 2:30 pm. <br />Wilson, Anderson and Hecker will meet with the DNR soon to discuss hunting and trapping. <br />Some of the next agenda items were discussed. The next agenda items for the next and future <br />meetings include the following: Official name for the property, a meeting with the FMR and TPL <br />(Hecker will invite them to the February meeting), Hunting and Trapping, Bee Keeping, Farming, <br />Governing Documents, Signage, and Celebration Party. <br />Seeger expressed the interest to include "Park" in the official name. Anderson recommended <br />that a contest be considered to engage the public. <br />Hecker suggested that a name should be considered to reflect the conservation values and <br />requirements of the property. An official, name should be considered soon so that the ongoing <br />official documents reflect the new name. <br />Anderson suggested that a celebration party be planned to involve the public and neighbors of <br />the property. <br />
