The Expedition has <br /> over 110,000 miles,has considerable rust on the body and undercarriage, and is consistently burning oil. <br /> The Expedition was previously assigned to the fire chief and was rotated into the duty officer assignment <br /> to maximize the vehicle's use. <br /> The new Tahoe will be assigned to the Deputy Chief; the Deputy Chief's current Tahoe will be rotated <br /> into the duty officer position. <br /> The requested approval includes: <br /> ■ 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe (state contract): $35,417.33 <br /> ■ Graphics and lettering: $2,150 <br /> ■ Emergency vehicle equipment and up-fitting: $8,000 <br /> ■ Command cabinet: $3,305 <br /> ■ Computer and technology: $3,500 (including tablet,mount, and hotspot) <br /> Financial Impact <br /> $54,000 has been budgeted in the 2018 Equipment Replacement Fund and approved in the 2018 budget. <br /> Attachments <br /> N/A <br /> The Elk River Vision <br /> A PehoMing community 2a itb revolutionary and spirited resourcefulness, exceptional POWERED By <br /> service, and community engagement that encourages and inspires prosperity INAWRE1 <br />
