Council also <br /> provided direction and approved a Memorandum of Agreement between the city and MORC. Since <br /> 2016, staff has been working consistently with MORC and their volunteers to make improvements to the <br /> park's mountain bike trails. <br /> MORC currently partners with 12 land-managing agencies and annually reviews and evaluates their <br /> partnerships to determine if any have gone above and beyond to support trails in their community. <br /> MORC is proud to present the City of Elk River with the 2017 `Land Manager of the Year' award due to: <br /> ■ Excellent communication <br /> ■ Dedicated and collaborative staff <br /> ■ Strategic financial investment <br /> ■ Allocation of tools, supplies and equipment <br /> ■ An Understanding of, and desire to provide a quality trail user experience <br /> Financial Impact <br /> N/A <br /> Attachments <br /> ■ None <br /> The Elk River Vision <br /> A PehoMing community 2a itb revolutionary and spirited resourcefulness, exceptional POWERED By <br /> service, and community engagement that encourages and inspires prosperity INAWRE1 <br />
