Following second interviews with <br /> four,leadership and management assessments for three, as well as background and reference checks,we <br /> recommend Joe Audette for this position. <br /> Mr. Audette is currently the Municipal Liquor Manager at River Bend Liquor for the City of Windom. <br /> Prior to Windom,he was Liquor Manager for Supervalu, Cub Liquors. He sits on the Minnesota <br /> Municipal Beverage Association (MMBA) Board of Directors and is the President of the Windom Area <br /> Chamber of Commerce. While in Windom he has won the MMBA Facility Award for Best Business <br /> Development and the national award, StateWays, for best consumer tasting event. He is passionate about <br /> community involvement and providing opportunities to introduce consumers to products. <br /> Accepting this position requires relocation by Mr. Audette and his spouse and we have yet to determine a <br /> start date. We anticipate that he will begin working for the city in three to four weeks. <br /> Starting pay for Mr. Audette will be Step A of pay grade 13. He will be eligible for a step increase <br /> following successful completion of his orientation.
