Planning Commission Page 2 <br />November 28, 2017 <br />----------------------------- <br />4.2 Ordinance Amendment – City of Elk River <br /> Subdivisions across plat boundaries, Case No. OA 17-12 <br /> <br /> Mr. Carlton presented the staff report. <br /> <br />Commissioner Rydberg asked what cost savings are being generated with this <br />process. Mr. Carlton stated a $100 fee and a $100 escrow would be required and <br />noted the current procedure required a $275 fee and $1,000 escrow. <br /> <br /> Chair Johnson opened the public hearing. <br /> <br /> There being no one to speak, Chair Johnson closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Rydberg and seconded by Commissioner Thiel to <br />recommend approval of the ordinance amendment establishing the platted <br />exemption process under Section 230-352(c) as outlined in the staff report. <br /> <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />4.3 Ordinance Amendment – City of Elk River <br /> Remove Planning Commission work session from city ordinance, Case No. <br />OA 17-14 <br /> <br /> Mr. Carlton presented the staff report. <br /> <br />Chair Johnson opened the public hearing. There being no one present to speak, <br />Chair Johnson closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Thiel and seconded by Commissioner Feinstein to <br />recommend approval of the ordinance amendment removing the Planning <br />Commission workshop from city ordinance as outlined in the staff report. <br /> <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />4.4 Beaudry Oil/Truck Shop – 620, 634 Quinn Ave. & 623 & 633 Proctor <br />Ave. <br /> Preliminary Plat review of New Resources Addition, Case No. P 17-23 <br /> Conditional Use Permit to establish a truck storage, maintenance, and repair <br />facility, Case No. CU 17-36 <br /> <br />Mr. Carlton presented the staff report. He indicated staff was recommending <br />approval of these items. <br /> <br />Chair Johnson opened the public hearing.
