Zack Johnson <br />indicated that he met with security Services corporation, the low <br />bidder, to review their bid and stated that he ia certain that they <br />will be able to provide the services needed. <br /> <br />Tom Zerwas, Police Chief, indicated that he has checked other cities <br />for references and has had a good response from all references that he <br />checked. Pat Klaers informed the Council that staff will be further <br />evaluating the security system and that there may be some changes that <br />will be brought before the Council. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT MOVED TO ACCEPT THE LOW <br />SYSTEM. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />BID FOR <br />MOTION. <br /> <br />THE SECURITY <br />THE MOTION <br /> <br />7.2. Update on Office Colors <br /> <br />Pat Klaers informed the Council that staff is still looking at office <br />colors and that a recommendation will. be made to the Council at a <br />future date. <br /> <br />7.3. Cable TV Update <br /> <br />Pat Klaers informed the Council that <br />Commission and that the Commission <br />the Cable TV system and prepayment for <br /> <br />he has met with the Cable TV <br />has authorized paying $45,500 for <br />the Cable Consultant. <br /> <br />Lori Johnson informed the Council that she is working with the Cable <br />Consultant to put the bid package together. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO PROCEED WITH AUTHORIZING BIDS FOR THE <br />CABLE TV SYSTEM AT THE NEW CITY HALL/POLICE STATION. COUNCILMEMBER <br />SCHULDT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />7.4. Building Tour <br /> <br />Zack Johnson invited the <br />Station facilities. It was <br />place on Wednesday, October <br /> <br />Council to tour the new City Hall/Police <br />the consensus that the tour would take <br />28, during the lunch hour. <br /> <br />7.5. FF&E Update <br /> <br />Pat Klaers informed the Council that staff has been touring furniture <br />facilities. He indicated that the furniture will be purchased under <br />state contract. He indicated that the cost to furnish an office will <br />be approximately in the $3,000 range. He further stated that staff <br />would be keeping the limited amount of furniture that is in good <br />condition, but would like to refurnish the offices with new furniture. <br />Funds have been saved for the past few years for the FF&E and the City <br />needs to order new furniture within a month or so. <br />
