Call Meeting to Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River <br />City Council was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor Tralle. <br /> <br />2. Consider 8/31/92 Council Agenda <br /> <br />Item 5.7 - Brindamour Drainage was added to the agenda. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO APPROVE THE 8/31/92 COUNCIL AGENDA AS <br />AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED <br />5-0. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Consider 8/17/92 City Council Minutes <br /> <br />The City Clerk requested the following amendment to the minutes: <br /> <br />Page 13, item 7.9. (4.) add the words "and change order '1". <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO <br />MINUTES AS AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER <br />MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />8/17/92 CITY COUNCIL <br />THE MOTION. THE <br /> <br />APPROVE THE <br />DIETZ SECONDED <br /> <br />4.1. Arts Council Presentation/Request for 1993 Funding <br /> <br />Dr. Flannery, representing the Elk River Area Arts Council, thanked the <br />City Council for its past support and requested the Council's continued <br />support for 1993 in the amount of $10,000. Dr. Flannery indicated that <br />the Arts Council has raised $7,057 and will continue until at least <br />$10,000 is raised which will match the City's $10,000. The Council <br />informed Dr. Flannery that this request would be taken under <br />consideration during the 1993 budget work session. <br /> <br />5.1. Consider Bids for Main Street Bridge Replacement <br /> <br />Mayor Tralle indicated that bids were opened for the Main Street Bridge <br />replacement. The low bidder was C.S. McCrosson at $665,628.80. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 92-81, A RESOLUTION <br />ACCEPTING BID AND RECOMMENDING MNDOT PROCEED WITH EXECUTION OF CONTRACT <br />
