(Malt Liquor During 2018 National Football League Super Bowl LII <br />SECTION 1. 2017 MN H.F. 1, Art. 11, X19, provides the authority for the city to issue special <br />permits to holders of on -sale intoxicating liquor licenses or 3.2. malt liquor licenses during the 2018 <br />National Football League Super Bowl LII at U.S. Bank Stadium to allow for the service of alcohol <br />through extended hours until 4:00 a.m. <br />SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Elk River does hereby ordain as follows: <br />The following conditions shall apply to the special permits described in Section 1. <br />a. Only holders of an existing on -sale intoxicating liquor license or 3.2. malt liquor license <br />issued by the city are eligible and shall only be issued upon approval of the city. <br />b. The license shall only be effective during the period from 8:00 a.m., February 2, 2018 <br />through 4:00 a.m., Monday, February 5, 2018. <br />c. At 4:01 a.m., February 5, 2018, the license shall expire and terminate with no further action <br />required by the city. <br />d. The license shall be subject to the conditions, prohibited acts, and penalties set forth in <br />Minn. Stat. Chapter 340A and City Code Chapter 6. <br />e. Application shall be on a form prescribed by the city with a license fee of $100. <br />SECTION 3.
