Call Meeting To Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River <br />City Council was called to order at 7:07 p.m. by Vice Mayor Dietz. <br /> <br />2. Consider 11/22/93 City Council Agenda <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL <br />AGENDA. COUNCILMEMBER <br />CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />MOVED TO <br />HOLMGREN <br /> <br />APPROVE <br />SECONDED <br /> <br />THE <br />THE <br /> <br />11/22/93 <br />MOTION. <br /> <br />CITY <br />THE <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br />MOTION <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Consider 11/15/93 City Council Minutes <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER <br />MINUTES. COUNCILMEMBER <br />CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />MOVED TO <br />HOLMGREN <br /> <br />APPROVE <br />SECONDED <br /> <br />THE <br />THE <br /> <br />11/15/93 <br />MOTION. <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br />MOTION <br /> <br />CITY <br />THE <br /> <br />4.1. Consider Renewal of Lawful Gambling Premises Permit for American <br />Legion <br /> <br />The City Administrator stated that the American Legion Post #112 is <br />requesting renewal of their lawful gambling premises permit license. <br />He further stated that the American Legion has exceeded the local <br />charitable contribution requirements. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL MOVED TO APPROVE RESOLUTION 93-76, A RESOLUTION <br />APPROVING PREMISES PERMIT APPLICATION FOR THE AMERICAN LEGION POST #112 <br />FOR CHARITABLE GAMBLING TO TAKE .PLACE AT 525 RAILROAD DRIVE. <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />4.2. Consider Contract for private Development with The Chuba Company <br />(Redevelopment Project at Main Street and Freeport Avenue) <br /> <br />The Economic Development Coordinator reviewed the contract with the <br />City Council. He'stated that HRA Chair Richard Hinkle requested that <br />additional language be added to the Development Agreement reiterating <br />the maximum reimbursement of $50,000 to the developer for demolition <br />and site preparation. This language will be added to Section 2 of the <br />contract. <br />
