Consider Resolution Approvina Hillside Estates 2nd Addition Plat <br /> <br />Steven Ach stated that Rick Foster. developer of Hillside Estates, is requesting <br />final plat approval to begin construction of Phase 2 of Hillside Estates. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 93-72, A RESOLUTION <br />GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL TO HILLSIDE ESTATES 2ND ADDITION. <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />4.3. Update on Flaa Contest <br /> <br />The City Clerk informed the City Council that she has received 31 entries to <br />the City's flag contest. It was the consensus of the Council to judge the flags <br />when the Mayor is present. <br /> <br />4.4. <br /> <br />Discuss possible dates for Board and Commission Interviews <br /> <br />The City Clerk informed the Council that she has sent letters to all Board and <br />Commission members whose terms will be expiring on December 31, 1993. She <br />indicated that the deadline for applications for Boards and Commissions is <br />December 10th. It was the consensus of the Council to set the interview times <br />after the deadline date of December 10th. <br /> <br />4.5. <br /> <br />MnDOT Coordination ofTrunk Hiahway 10/101/169 Improvements <br /> <br />Terry Maurer. City Engineer. stated that the City is continuing to work with MnDOT <br />in relation to adding City storm sewer improvements to the Trunk Highway <br />10/101/1 69 project. He indicated that the process must be initiated by the <br />adoption of a resolution. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 93-73, A RESOLUTION <br />REQUESTING MNDOT TO CONSTRUCT STORM SEWER FACILITIES UNDER THE TRUNK <br />HIGHWAY 10/101/169 INTERCHANGE IN CONJUNCTION WITH MNDOT PROJECT <br />S.P.7101. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />4.6. Consider Pay Estimates for Hillside Estates Phase I and Meadowvale Heiahts <br />Trunk Improvement <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER MOVED TO APPROVE THE FOLLOWING PAY ESTIMATES: <br /> <br />FINAL PAY ESTIMATE TO R.L. LARSON EXCAVATING, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$23,671.74 FOR WORK COMPLETED ON THE HILLSIDE ESTATES PROJECT. <br /> <br />PAY ESTIMATE #1 TO RICHARD KNUTSON CONSTRUCTION, INC., FOR WORK <br />COMPLETED ON THE MEADOWVALE HEIGHTS TRUNK UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $156,468.63. <br />
