<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL <br />HELD AT THE ELK RIVER CITY HALL <br />MONDAY, OCTOBER 18, 1993 <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Duitsman, Councilmembers Dietz, Scheel, Farber <br />and Holmgren <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Peter Beck, City Attorney; Pat Klaers, City <br />Administrator; Sandra Thackeray, City Clerk <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Executive Session of the Elk <br />River City Council was called to order at 8:07 p.m. by Mayor Duitsman. <br /> <br />The purpose of the Executive Session was to discuss pending litigation of <br />Houlton Farms and of the Hohlen property. <br /> <br />City Attorney Peter Beck updated the Council on the pending litigation of <br />the Houlton Farms, Inc., in relation to the 1992 western area improvement <br />project. He stated that no court hearing has been set and that negotiations <br />will continue between Bud Houlton and the City. <br /> <br />Peter Beck updated the Council on the pending Earl Hohlen litigation. He <br />indicated that no progress has been made on this litigation case. He <br />further indicated he would keep the Council informed as to any future <br />progress. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL MOVED TO ADJOURN THE MEETING OF THE EXECUTIVE SESSION. <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION.
