<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL <br />HELD AT THE ELK RIVER CITY HALL <br />MONDAY, AUGUST 16, 1993 <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Duitsman, Councilmembers Dietz, Scheel, Farber, <br />and Holmgren <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Peter Beck, City Attorney; Terry Maurer, City Engineer; <br />Sandra Thackeray, City Clerk <br /> <br />Mayor Duitsman called the meeting of the Executive Session to order at 6:42 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />Peter Beck, city Attorney stated that the purpose of the Executive Session <br />was to talk about the condemnation of the Hohlen property located at Highway <br />169 and Main Street. Terry Maurer, City Engineer, and Peter Beck reviewed <br />the issues involved in the pending litigation. <br /> <br />The City Council directed the City Attorney to proceed with negotiations <br />with Mr. Hohlen to see if a settlement could be reached. <br /> <br />There being no further business, COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO ADJOURN THE <br />MEETING. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION.
