Staff Updates <br /> <br />The City Administrator distributed keys to the Council for the <br />administrative side of the City Hall and for the Wellness Room. <br /> <br />School Street/Jackson Avenue Intersection City Administrator, Pat <br />Klaers, reviewed the memo from the City Engineer regarding the School <br />Street/Jackson Avenue intersection upgrading and signalization. The <br />City Council directed staff to relay their concern that plans for this <br />project move as quickly as possible. <br /> <br />Joint Meeting with Sherburne County Board The City Administrator <br />stated that a joint meeting with the County will be scheduled for <br />sometime in August or September. The meeting will be held in the <br />training room at the City Hall. One of the issues to discuss will be <br />the County Fair parking lot. <br /> <br />The City Administrator updated the City Council on plans for a land <br />exchange with the golf course, the entrance to Woodland Trails Park, <br />and for the right-of-way needed for a future east/west transportation <br />route. <br /> <br />The City Administrator stated that in reviewing the Highway 10 and <br />Proctor Avenue site for a possible second municipal liquor store, staff <br />felt there would be problems with traffic since Beaudry Oil will also <br />be at that intersection. The City Administrator further stated that <br />the Fritz Dolejs, Northbound Manager, felt that the best site would be <br />on Highway 10 at the last stop light in town, and that if the future <br />site of that signal light could be determined, the City could possibly <br />purchase the property now for future use. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />Other Business <br />
