Amendment to a Conditional Use Permit by Assembly of God Church/p.H. <br />Case No. CU-93-16 <br /> <br />Steve Rohlf stated that the Assembly of God Church is requesting an <br />amendment to a conditional use permit to convert an existing garage <br />into a dwelling. A conditional use permit is required because there <br />will be more than one principle building on a lot. Steve Rohlf <br />explained that the Assembly of God Church is also requesting wall <br />signage totalling 91-1/2 square feet with the letters of the sign being <br />internally lit. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Dietz opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Perry Mason, 11847 196th Avenue, stated that all the Planning <br />Commission's concerns have been taken care of. He further indicated he <br />did not approve of the signage request. He indicated that the neon <br />sign does not fit in a residential area and that he is opposed to the <br />neon sign. <br /> <br />Steve Rohlf, Building and Zoning Administrator, stated that <br />will only be visible from the east and will not affect <br />residents.
