Call Meeting To Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River <br />City Council was called to order at 6:00 p.m., by Vice-Mayor Dietz. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Consider 7/19/93 City Council Agenda <br /> <br />The following items were added to the agenda: <br /> <br />Item 4.3, Ultraviolet System for Wastewater Treatment Plant <br />Item 11.1, Councilmember Farber Update. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO APPROVE THE 7/19/93 CITY COUNCIL AGENDA <br />AS AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 3-0. <br /> <br />3. Consider 7/6/93 City Council Minutes <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER MOVED TO APPROVE THE 7/6/93 SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL <br />MINUTES. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 3-0. <br /> <br />4.1. Citizen League Presentation on Transportation <br /> <br />Rita Johnson and Mary Eberley presented the Citizen's League Report on <br />transportation in the Elk River area. Rita Johnson explained that the <br />objectives of the Citizen League were as follows: to discover the <br />level of awareness in the community regarding public transportation <br />services currently available; to explore existing transportation <br />options for commuters; and, to look at Minnesota's changing surface <br />transportation system. <br /> <br />Mary Eberley identified specific recommendations made by the Citizen's <br />League regarding transportation. <br />
