Conditional Use <br />Nordenstrom/P.H. <br /> <br />Permit for Excavation <br />Case No. CU-93-11 <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />Wetland <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />James <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />steve Rohlf stated that James Nordenstrom of 19881 Auburn Street is <br />requesting a conditional use permit to excavate approximately 7,500 <br />cubic yards of black dirt from a wetland to construct an open water <br />pond for wildlife viewing. <br /> <br />Dan Tveite, Planning Commission Representative, indicated that the <br />Planning Commission recommended approval. <br /> <br />Mayor Duitsman opened the public hearing. There being no one for or <br />against the matter, Mayor Duitsman closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO APPROVE THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR <br />EXCAVATION IN A WETLAND REQUESTED BY JAMES NORDENSTROM WITH THE <br />FOLLOWING STIPULATIONS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />NONE OF THE EXCAVATED MATERIAL IS PLACED BACK INTO THE WETLAND <br />BOUNDARIES. <br />
