<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL <br />HELD AT ELK RIVER CITY HALL <br />TUESDAY, MARCH 30, 1993 <br /> <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: <br /> <br />Mayor Duitsman, Councilmembers Scheel, Farber, Dietz, <br />and Holmgren <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Pat Klaers, City Administrator; Terry Maurer, City <br />Engineer; and Lori Johnson, Finance Director <br /> <br />Mayor Duitsman requested clarification from the City Council on the last <br />executive session discussion regarding the offer to be made to the Police <br />Union. Mayor Duitsman indicated that he had concerns regarding future City <br />budgets. Pat Klaers indicated that he had not yet had an opportunity to <br />meet with the Union representatives so no City offer had been formally <br />presented. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL MOVED TO GIVE THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR THE LATITUDE TO <br />NEGOTIATE WITH THE UNION UP TO THE MAXIMUM OFFER AS PREVIOUSLY APPROVED BY <br />THE CITY COUNCIL ON 3/22/93. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO ADJOURN THE EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION.
