<br />. <br /> <br /> 1. <br /> 2. <br />. 3. <br />4. <br /> 5. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL <br />HELD AT THE ELK RIVER PUBLIC LIBRARY <br />MONDAY, JANUARY 25, 1993 <br /> <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: <br /> <br />Mayor Duitsman, Councilmembers Dietz, Scheel, Farber, and <br />Holmgren <br /> <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />STAFF PRESENT: <br /> <br />Pat Klaers, City Administrator; Sandra Thackeray, City <br />Clerk; Terry Maurer, City Engineer; and Peter Beck, City <br />Attorney <br /> <br />Mayor Duitsman called the meeting of the Executive Session to order at 9:51 <br /> <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The City Attorney updated the Council on the following litigation items <br />pertaining to the City of Elk River: <br /> <br />Resolution of the Mike Boelter Towing disagreement. <br />Elk River Landfill litigation regarding minor amendments to the <br />conditional use permit and license and payment of fees to the City of <br />Elk River. <br />Jerry Smith Deerfield Additions and drainage problems. <br />Bud Houlton appeal of assessments for the western area improvement <br />project. <br />Earl Hohlen pending litigation for road acquisition associated with the <br />Main Street and Highway 169 signalization project. <br /> <br />Mayor Duitsman informed the Council that UPA is proposing a major expansion <br />to their facility. <br /> <br />There being no further business, COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO CLOSE THE <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE CITY COUNCIL. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE <br />MOTION.
