Consider an Easement Vacation Reauest by Dayton Hudson, Public Hearina, <br />Case No. EV 94-3 <br /> <br />City Planner Steve Ach indicated that the Dayton Hudson Corporation is <br />requesting the vacation of certain easements within Elk park Center to <br />accommodate the changes that have occurred in the utility alignments. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Farber opened the public hearing. There being no one for or against <br />the matter, Vice Mayor Farber closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 94-101, A RESOLUTION FOR <br />VACATING DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS WITHIN ELK PARK CENTER PUD. <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />Other Business <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Council member Scheel indicated she would like the City Council to clarify <br />previous council action on an administrative subdivision involving her property. It <br />was the consensus of the Council to put this item on a future council agenda. <br /> <br />Council member Dietz indicated he received a request from someone to cut <br />dead trees from the 50 acres of park land the City is in the process of acquiring. It <br />was the consensus of the Council that this not be allowed for a number of <br />reasons, including the fact that the City does not own the land at this time. <br /> <br />Councilmember Farber indicated he would like the City to contact MnDOT and <br />request a traffic speed study on landers Street and request that the speed be <br />reduced. <br /> <br />e <br />
